A Powerful September Awaits Ukraine: Zelensky Makes New Statement

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has spoken about the activities planned for September on his Telegram channel.

"We have already begun to prepare a powerful September for Ukraine. Our international activity will be no less than in these weeks. First, our defense. New defensive packages for Ukrainian soldiers: artillery, armored vehicles, air defense, and missiles, as well as demining equipment. Each of our partners is informed about our needs. We are awaiting decisions.

Ukraine's security guarantees will soon begin the next phase of negotiations and the inclusion of new countries into the overall security architecture... We are preparing for Ukraine's participation in international events, particularly the UN General Assembly session. We are building Ukraine's 'soft power.' Global food security remains a permanent priority. There will be several meetings on these issues throughout the week.

Global South will hear Ukraine; we are preparing new communications...,” Zelensky stated.

The Global South includes countries that the World Bank classifies as low or middle-income countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
