From August 25-28, a high fire danger situation will persist in Yerevan, the Ararat Valley, and the foothill areas of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, and Vayots Dzor. This information is provided by the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
Throughout the territory of the Republic, on August 25, there will be occasional rain and thunderstorms in some regions; on the night of the 26th and the 29th, there may be rain in various areas, while during the day on the 29th, significant rainfall is expected in most regions. From August 26-27, dry weather is anticipated.
The wind will be from the northwest at a speed of 3-5 m/s, with expected gusts of 18-22 m/s during thunderstorms. The air temperature will gradually decrease by 4-6 degrees on August 25-26.
In Yerevan, during the day on August 25, sporadic rain and thunderstorms are possible in some parts of the city, with similar conditions expected on the 29th. No precipitation is anticipated on the 26th and 27th. On the evenings of August 26-29, wind gusts of 15-18 m/s are predicted, with speeds of 17-20 m/s on the 25th.
The temperature in the capital today will reach 30-32 degrees Celsius during the day and 23-25 degrees in the evening.
