Azerbaijani Armed Forces Open Fire on Armenian Positions in Verin Shorzha

The Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire during the night towards Armenian positions in Verin Shorzha, located in the Gegharkunik region. This information was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

According to the ministry's statement, "On August 23, between 01:05 and 02:00, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire from small arms towards the Armenian positions located in the Verin Shorzha area."

No further details were provided by the Armenian defense agency.

It is noteworthy that Azerbaijani units had also opened fire on Armenian positions in Verin Shorzha just two days prior, on August 21.
