VIDEO: Yerevan Zoo Welcomes 10 New Animals

The Yerevan Zoo has been enhanced with 10 new animals. This information was reported by the Yerevan Municipality.

Among the new arrivals are 2 zebras, 2 European deer, one white tiger, one bear, and 4 Barbary sheep from the North African species. The zebras have been brought from South Africa and are currently living and displayed in the same enclosure with the European deer. Some of the animals are residing in a quarantine area and are not yet on display, as stated in the announcement.

The zoo currently houses over 900 animals of more than 150 species. Further additions are expected in the near future.
