Hungary to Begin Purchasing Gas from Turkey

Hungary has reached an agreement with Turkey to purchase 275 million cubic meters of gas. This information has been reported by Turkish media.
The agreement was made during Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit to Budapest and negotiations with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, stated Péter Szijjártó, the head of Hungary's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
It has been noted that gas supplies are set to commence next year, in 2024.
