VIDEO: Roads Flooded in Moscow After Heavy Rain

Roads in Moscow have been flooded following heavy rainfall. This is reported by local media.

“An apocalyptic scene immediately from Moscow and the surrounding area. The capital is rapidly submerging in water due to torrential rains. A storm warning has been declared for the city,” the report states.

So far, the majority of the precipitation has fallen in the northern and northwestern parts of the city, as well as in Khimki and Krasnogorsk. According to weather forecasts, such conditions will persist for at least another day. In addition to the heavy rain, significant hail may also occur. The Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued a warning about the meteorological hazard.

On August 20th, the Moscow Transport Department reported that the weather in the capital could worsen. The department has advised drivers to be cautious on the roads, maintain distance, avoid sudden maneuvers, and not to park their vehicles under trees.
