Armenian Confectionery to be Exported to EU Countries: Food Safety Agency

The Food Safety Inspectorate announced that following prolonged negotiations, the European Commission's Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety has included the Republic of Armenia in the list of third countries authorized by the European Union.

This means that from now on, composite products (foods that contain both plant and animal processed products) made with milk and/or egg produced in Armenia can be exported to EU countries.

The European Commission's decision was based on the functions of food safety in Armenia and the results of the controls conducted in the sector.
