Video: Mass Evacuations Continue in Spanish Tenerife

Wildfires continue to rage on the Spanish Canary Island of Tenerife. Reports indicate that mass evacuations are taking place.

It should be noted that there has been an extreme heat wave in the Canary Islands over the past week, raising the risk of forest fires in many areas.

Earlier, it was announced that as a precautionary measure, residents of the towns of Arraute, Chivisaya, Media Montanya, and Ajafon were ordered to evacuate, and the TF-24 roads between Las Lagunetas and El Portillo as well as TF-523 were closed.
