Turkey Warns Russia

Turkey has warned Russia about the increased risk of tensions due to the inspection of a cargo ship in the Black Sea. This was announced on Thursday by the administration of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

The statement said that "there will be risks in the Black Sea if situations like the inspection of the 'Sukru Okan' ship by Russian military forces are repeated." It was noted that Russia has been "properly warned about the necessity to avoid such initiatives."
