Azerbaijani Side Attempted to Disrupt Participation of Artsakh Speakers in Urgent Press Conference: Artsakh MFA

During an online conference dedicated to the blockade of the Lachin Corridor, Artsakh's Foreign Minister Sergey Ghazaryan welcomed and expressed gratitude to the countries that provided clear statements regarding Azerbaijan's policies towards Nagorno-Karabakh during the UN Security Council's emergency meeting.

“At the same time, we have concerns regarding attempts by several countries to draw some equivalence between the Lachin Corridor and other roads, transportation communications, which is unacceptable. This does not correspond to the parameters of the Lachin Corridor as set out in the November 9, 2020 document,” said Ghazaryan.

The head of Artsakh's Foreign Ministry added that the convening of the UN emergency meeting is just the beginning, and the process will continue, considering that the UN Security Council is precisely the body that has the jurisdiction, authority, and capabilities to prevent the genocidal policy that “we see from Azerbaijan.”

It is noteworthy that during the urgent press conference, Sergey Ghazaryan added that the Azerbaijani side has cut the cable and is conducting special operations to obstruct the participation of Artsakh speakers in the press conference.
