The Body of Helen Who Died in Accident Cannot Be Transferred to Artsakh, Relatives Appeal to Red Cross

The International Committee of the Red Cross has received a letter from the relatives of Helen Dadayan, who died in an accident on the Gyumri-Yerevan highway, regarding the transfer of her body to Artsakh. This information has been confirmed by the ICRC.

Helen's uncle, Mushegh Safaryan, stated in an interview with NEWS.am that despite appealing to the Red Cross and the authorities in Artsakh, her body remains at the Goris morgue.

“The Red Cross says they are working on it, and so are the authorities in Artsakh. I will wait another two days; I’ve been told it will be Friday. If transferring her isn’t possible, I will find other impossible ways, and I will fight until the end to get my child home to her family,” he added.

It should be noted that on August 14, around 00:20, a minibus carrying passengers, branded 'Volkswagen', collided with a truck driven by a 33-year-old. A total of 11 people lost their lives in the accident. The group was returning from Western Armenia.
