VIDEO: How the Leopard Roams in Khosrov Forest

The camera traps installed in the Khosrov Forest State Reserve have captured a rare sighting of a leopard roaming the area. The video was published on the Facebook page of the Armenian branch of the World Wildlife Fund.

The footage shows the leopard standing very close to the camera, first looking towards the mountains before slowly moving away from the spot.

It is important to note that the leopard is included in the Red Book of Armenia and is also listed in the Red List of the International Union for Conservation of Nature.

The last sighting of a leopard on the reserve's camera trap occurred on March 29 at night. One of the leopards living in Khosrov Forest is named Neon, while the other is Nova. The animals have two cubs as well.
