Fire Burns Approximately 7 Hectares of Vegetation at the Foot of Mount Ara

On August 15, at 14:29, the Crisis Management Center of the Aragatsotn Regional Rescue Department received a report that a fire had broken out at the foot of Mount Ara, near the Zakaryan Monastery. This information was provided by the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

A firefighting and rescue team consisting of one combat unit and six operational groups (a total of 47 rescuers) was dispatched to the scene.

According to preliminary data, approximately 7 hectares of vegetation are burning.
