VIDEO: Streets Flooded with Oil Due to Leak in Ussuriysk, Russia
The territories of Ussuriysk in Russia have been hit by a new disaster due to an oil spill, following severe flooding. This has been reported by the Readovka Telegram channel.
It is noted that residents of the city are now forced to walk not only through water but also through dark puddles filled with oil products that are difficult to wash off skin and clothing.
According to the Primorsky Territory's Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations, the fuel oil entered the water due to a dam breach in one of the micro-districts, subsequently spreading throughout almost the entire city.
The Ussuriysk administration has reported that the leak has been eliminated; however, locals state that the black traces of oil still remain. Emergency services continue their efforts towards evacuating the residents.
