Supreme Court of the DPR Sentences Azov Fighter to Life Imprisonment

The Supreme Court of the Donetsk People's Republic has sentenced "Azov" Ukrainian National Corps fighter Nikolai Kushchi to life imprisonment for killing an injured soldier in Mariupol. This was reported by the press service of the Chief Military Prosecutor's Office.

According to the court, in mid-April 2022, while patrolling the territory of Mariupol controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Kushchi fired at a DPR people's police officer, seized his weapon, turned him over, and shot him.

Last week, it was revealed that the Supreme Court of the DPR had sentenced Azov squad commander Anatoly Kilyushik to 25 years of imprisonment in a high-security colony for firing at a Mariupol resident.

Additionally, at the end of May, the DPR court sentenced Azov fighter Alexey Kirkalov to life imprisonment for killing a Russian prisoner of war in Mariupol.
