Azerbaijani Media Continues to Spread Fake Videos: Artsakh Defense Army

Azerbaijani media continues to disseminate fake videos. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh.

On August 14, Azerbaijani electronic media published a second fake recording, which allegedly shows construction works being carried out by units of the Defense Army.

The recent increase in activity from the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense's press service and the media closely collaborating with that agency, along with the regular dissemination of misinformation through both official and unofficial channels, is evident. These include completely false accusations directed at the Artsakh Defense Army regarding violations of the ceasefire and targeting civilian aircraft with electronic warfare means.

As previously noted, the aim is to divert international attention from the humanitarian disaster caused by Azerbaijan's actions in Artsakh, justify the ceasefire violations by Azerbaijani units deployed in the occupied territories of the Republic of Artsakh, and create an informational basis for future provocations.
