Four Suspects Arrested for Attack on Shah Cheragh Shrine
In Shiraz, a city in southern Iran, four individuals suspected of attacking the Shah Cheragh shrine have been arrested. According to the IRNA news agency, the chief prosecutor of Fars province, Kazem Mousavi, reported this information.
"The main perpetrator who opened fire at the shrine has been apprehended immediately and taken in for questioning," he stated.
It is noteworthy that the terrorist act on August 13 resulted in one death and left eight others injured. Mousavi noted that the condition of one of the injured is extremely critical.
This incident marks the second terrorist attack at the Shah Cheragh mosque in Iran. On October 26, 2022, a terrorist opened fire in the vicinity of the Shah Cheragh shrine in Shiraz, resulting in the deaths of 13 individuals and injuries to 26 others.
