Poland to Defend Border with Belarus Using Tanks and Helicopters
The head of Poland's Ministry of National Defense, Mariusz Błaszczak, has announced that the country plans to secure its border area adjacent to Belarus with American helicopters. According to Interfax, next week Warsaw is expecting a decision from the U.S. Congress to approve the Polish request concerning Apache helicopters, which, along with tanks, will form a barrier.
This measure will seal off the Brest gates. Błaszczak asserts that the tanks and helicopters will create an insurmountable barrier. He has also added that South Korean K2 Black Panther tanks, FA-50 combat aircraft, and HIMARS artillery systems have already been deployed in this section of the border.
