GAZ Car Rolls About 30 Meters into Ravine, Driver Rescued

On August 13 at 09:35, the crisis management center of the Shirak regional rescue department received a call reporting a traffic accident near the village of Vardaghbyur that required the assistance of rescuers. This was announced by the rescue service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

A firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was dispatched to the scene. It was found that on the Gyumri-Bavra highway, in the area known as 'Ghochi Spring', a GAZ car had veered off the roadway and rolled approximately 30 meters into a ravine.

The driver was extricated from the vehicle by local forces, and emergency staff provided necessary medical assistance on-site. Rescuers also shut off the valve of the vehicle's gas cylinder.
