A 5 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Crete, Greece
A 5 magnitude earthquake has struck Crete, Greece, as reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC). The epicenter was located at a depth of 10 km.
The tremors were felt approximately 115 km southwest of Heraklion, a city with around 137,000 inhabitants, and about 18 km southeast of Paleochora, which has a population of around 2,300.
