26-Year-Old Dies from Burns Sustained in Fire Caused by Gas Leak

A 26-year-old resident of Yerevan, David G., has died at the National Center for Burns in Yerevan after suffering severe burns from a fire caused by a gas leak. The incident occurred on August 6, and he was admitted to the hospital following the fire.

According to reports from Shamshyan.com, an emergency situation unfolded in Yerevan on that day. At approximately 19:50, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call about a fire at a gas station located at number 22 Acharian Street in the Avan administrative district.

It was determined that the fire broke out due to a liquid gas leak from the rear of a ZIL brand gas-tanker truck (weighing 4 tons). Reports indicate that the injured citizen, 26-year-old David G., was fighting for his life as doctors struggled to save him.
