Kyiv's Attempt to Strike Crimea Will Not Go Unanswered: Zakharova

Russia strongly condemns and will not leave unanswered Ukraine's attempt to attack the Crimean Bridge, which is a civilian infrastructure object. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"We firmly condemn these terrorist attacks. The Crimean Bridge is purely a civilian infrastructure object, and attacks on it are unacceptable," Zakharova said.

She noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to obscure their failures along the contact line with such attacks. "These kinds of diversions give the international community another chance to understand the true reality of Kyiv's regime. Such barbaric acts are unjustifiable and will not go unanswered," she emphasized.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that Kyiv attempted to strike the Crimean Bridge with an S-200 missile. According to the region's head, Sergey Aksyonov, special services have applied coverage over the Crimean Bridge.
