VIDEO. Humanitarian Crisis in Artsakh Continues to Deepen and Expand: Pashinyan

“The humanitarian crisis in Artsakh continues to deepen and expand,” announced Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a government meeting.

According to him, stores and pharmacies in Artsakh have not received external supplies since December 2022.

“Since June 15 of this year, Azerbaijan has also blocked humanitarian cargo deliveries to Artsakh, including food and medicine for children, as well as through the ICRC,” he noted.

The Prime Minister reminded that the government working group established to support the people of Artsakh has decided to send humanitarian cargo to Artsakh, and 19 trucks are currently remaining parked in Syunik, near the Lachin corridor. He also listed a total of 361 tons of humanitarian cargo sent to Artsakh.
