VIDEO: Explosion Occurs in Northwest Moscow

The air defense system has destroyed a drone in the northwest of Moscow, with debris falling in the area of the Karamyshevskaya Embankment, Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported on his Telegram channel.

“An attempt was made to fly the drone over the city. As a result of the air defense operation, it was eliminated. No one was injured as debris fell in the area of the Karamyshevskaya Embankment,” the report states.

The incident did not result in serious damage, and emergency services are working at the scene, the mayor added.

The Russian Ministry of Defense, in turn, clarified that the incident was an attempt by the Kyiv regime to attack a facility in the Moscow region using a drone.
