Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the decision to dismiss all regional military commissioners. “Those who wish to keep their ranks will be sent to fight, and in their place will be appointed people who have participated in combat operations.”

“Our decision: we are dismissing all regional military commissioners. This system must be managed by people who clearly understand what war is and why cynicism and corruption during wartime are treason. However, those military personnel who have gone through the front lines or cannot be in the trenches due to loss of health or limbs, yet have preserved their dignity and are not cynical, can be trusted with this system,” Zelensky said during a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
