Kyiv Seeks to Abolish Visa-Free Regime with Israel

Kyiv is considering the possibility of abolishing the visa-free regime with Israel and wants to initiate the removal of Jerusalem from the meetings of the contact group providing military assistance to Ukraine. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the Ukrainian newspaper "Kyiv Post."

"The main reason is Israel's systematic unfriendly actions towards Ukraine and its practically pro-Russian stance in the international arena," said a source from the publication.

According to the source, Kyiv has also initiated the removal of Israel from the meetings held in the "Ramstein" format related to providing military assistance to Ukraine.

Israel is among the countries that condemned Russia's military special operation, but both Israel's previous and current governments have consistently refrained from providing military assistance and supplying arms to Kyiv, limiting themselves to humanitarian aid deliveries.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that certain weapons supplied to Ukraine by Western countries have already surfaced near Israel's borders, and Jerusalem is concerned that any arms supply to Kyiv could end up in the hands of Israel's enemies, such as Iran.
