Unknown Individuals Throw Bomb Near Swedish Embassy in Lebanon

In the Lebanese capital Beirut, unknown individuals threw a bomb near the entrance of the Swedish embassy, but no one was injured. This information was reported by the newspaper 'Expressen,' citing police sources.

“It was a bomb in the form of a Molotov cocktail, but it did not explode. Our experts have removed the bomb from the scene, and we are working to find the criminals,” said a source from the publication.

The incident occurred late Thursday night. The police suspect that the failed attack may be linked to recent Quran burning incidents in Sweden.

The Swedish Foreign Ministry has stated that embassy staff are safe, and the agency is in constant contact with them.
