Turkey Reports Deaths of 5 Soldiers in Northern Iraq
Five Turkish soldiers have been killed in clashes with militants from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in northern Iraq, according to a report by Reuters citing the Turkish Ministry of Defense.
The clashes, during which the Turkish soldiers lost their lives, occurred in the Zap region, where the Turkish military is conducting cross-border operations against the PKK.
