Video: Footage Released from Epicenter of Explosion in Russia, Number of Injured Reaches 56

A powerful explosion occurred today at the epicenter of the incident in Sergiev Posad, Russia. The site appears to have created a massive crater. Currently, canine units are working with dogs at the scene, as it has been reported that there may be people trapped in the debris.

Earlier, it was reported that a strong explosion thundered at the optics-mechanical plant in Sergiev Posad, located near Moscow. The number of injured has reached 56. Nearby buildings have been damaged, and vehicles have been reduced to ashes.

The Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal case for violating safety regulations at hazardous industrial facilities.
