Theory of Drone Attack on Sergiyev Posad Factory Not Confirmed: New Data

In Sergiyev Posad, located northeast of Moscow, the number of those injured from an explosion at a pyrotechnics warehouse has reached 52. Earlier reports indicated 37 injured, five of whom are in intensive care suffering from burns, while the others have sustained shrapnel injuries.

Authorities also report that around 20 apartment buildings and four social institutions, including the Sergiyev Posad School, have been damaged. Notably, the Investigative Committee of Russia has stated that the theory of a drone attack on the factory has not been confirmed.

Previously, it was reported that a powerful explosion had occurred at the optics and mechanics factory in the suburban area of Sergiyev Posad. Nearby buildings were destroyed, and vehicles were turned to ash.
