Syrian President Bashar Assad Refuses to Meet with Turkish President
Syrian President Bashar Assad has refused to meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as he stated in an interview with Skynews.
"The meeting with Recep Tayyip Erdogan will not take place due to the conditions proposed by Ankara. Starting negotiations with him in the current situation would mean recognizing Turkey's occupation of northern Syrian territories. Ankara is responsible for the actions of armed groups against civilians," Assad said.
