Explosion Destroys Sewing Workshop in Sergiev Posad, Russia

An explosion at an optics and mechanical factory in Sergiev Posad, Russia, has led to the destruction of a sewing workshop.

The sewing workshop, located within the factory premises, was not far from the blast site. Footage shows that the workshop has been almost completely destroyed, with windows shattered and furniture and sewing machines broken.

Reports indicate that the building housed numerous rooms, which were primarily rented out. Most of these rooms have sustained damage.

Earlier reports confirmed that a powerful explosion occurred at the optics and mechanical factory in Sergiev Posad.
