After the dismissal of the head of the Penitentiary Service of the Republic of Armenia, the processes in the field are not yet complete. This is reported by the newspaper "Zhoghovurd."
"Following the dismissal of the service head and former MP from the Civil Contract party, Sergey Atomyan, arrests are expected in penitentiary establishments. This means that employees working under Atomyan's supervision were involved in dealings with convicts, and either Atomyan was unaware of the situation or he was complicit in the transactions. Law enforcement has made revelations," the newspaper writes.
According to information from the media, arrests are expected soon from the penitentiary institutions.
