Another Truck Joins Those Heading to Artsakh: Humanitarian Aid from France Arrives

It has been the 15th day that over 20 trucks have been situated at the Kornidzor border section. Just moments ago, another truck arrived there, as reported by a correspondent of "News" working in the Syunik Province.

There is no movement regarding the trucks, said Vardan Sargsyan, a representative of the humanitarian crisis management working group in Artsakh, during a live broadcast. "Our convoy carrying humanitarian supplies has just been joined by another truck. This is an initiative from several cities and regions in France, in solidarity and support of the people of Artsakh, who have been under blockade for about 8 months," he stated, adding that the humanitarian cargo includes more than 20 tons of food and pasta, sent from several regions within Paris.

"It is commendable that this humanitarian initiative from Armenia is being responded to and joined not only by private companies in Armenia but also by the mentioned cities and regions of friendly France. This once again demonstrates that the escalating humanitarian crisis in Artsakh is gaining wider resonance and international attention, and proves that urgent actions are necessary to open the illegally closed Lachin corridor and ensure humanitarian access to Artsakh," Sargsyan added.

When asked if there are any guarantees that the cargo located at the Kornidzor border section will pass to Artsakh, Sargsyan replied, "We continue our efforts and discussions to achieve the goal of transferring the humanitarian cargo to Artsakh. Unfortunately, at this moment, I can say that there is no new information or response regarding this matter."
