VIDEO: Waste Collection in Uzbekistan to be Carried Out Under Classical Music

Waste collection is being conducted in residential neighborhoods of Tashkent and two other regions of Uzbekistan under classical music. This has been reported by RIA Novosti, referencing the press service of the country’s Ministry of Ecology, Nature Protection and Climate Change.

According to the ministry, this initiative emerged due to numerous complaints regarding the loud sounds of garbage truck horns. “It has been decided to collect household waste not by signaling but under the sounds of classical music,” the statement said.

The experiment will take place in Tashkent, as well as in the Kashkadarya and Bukhara regions. If this new method proves successful, it will be implemented throughout the country.
