Powerful Photos from Bombarded Donetsk Region: 7 Killed, 88 Injured

Images have been released from the town of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region, which was shelled by Russian forces on the evening of August 7, located 40 kilometers from the front lines.

According to Pavel Kirilenko, the head of the regional administration, residential buildings, a hotel, shops, and office buildings were damaged during the attack. Preliminary reports suggest that 'Iskander' missiles were used in the onslaught.

As a result of the shelling, seven people were killed, including Andrey Omelchenko, the deputy head of the State Emergency Service in the Donetsk region. At least 88 others were injured, including two children.
