Weapons and Stolen Goods Found in the House of Former Criminal Authority

In Yerevan, weapons and ammunition were discovered in the house of a 40-year-old man known as "Astrakhan Hayko," who was previously recognized as a criminal authority but was recently stripped of this title. This information was reported by Shamshyan.com, noting that the incident occurred on August 6.

The investigative department had requested authorization from the Yerevan City Court to conduct a search at H. Ghazaryan's home, which the court granted.

During the search at one of the houses on Shakhumyan 7, the residence of H. Ghazaryan, a 12mm caliber "Churchill" shotgun with factory number 553749 was found, along with 25 9mm pistol cartridges, 20 pieces and 7 boxes of 7.62 caliber cartridges in sealed condition, and one firearm suppressor. Additionally, cash stolen from a robbery was recovered, along with 7 various kinds of wines, a "Redmi Note 12" mobile phone, "Gucci" labeled sunglasses, and clothing items belonging to H. Ghazaryan and A. Grigoryan, including a black jacket, trousers, and sports shoes, as well as 2 masks and 3 gloves.

A criminal case has been initiated at the investigative department of the Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts regarding the incident. According to sources, this case may be connected to a recent armed robbery carried out by H. Ghazaryan and two others at the "Vahagni" restaurant complex in the Vahagni neighborhood, where they used firearms and masks. The police also discovered the vehicle used by the criminals to carry out the robbery, a Toyota Vellfire, which has been taken to the police station for safekeeping as per the investigator's decision.
