Human Rights Defender's Response to Denial of Access for Disabled Children to 'Jrjakh' Entertainment Center
The Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan has responded to reports regarding the denial of access for a group of disabled children from Vanadzor to the 'Jrjakh' entertainment center.
“Today, August 6, it has been reported on social media that the entry of a group of children with disabilities arriving in Yerevan from Vanadzor has been prohibited without justification. The Defender has immediately instructed the staff to address this issue. Necessary measures are being taken to clarify the reasons for the situation,” the statement said.
The Human Rights Defender emphasizes the importance of excluding any discrimination against persons with disabilities and ensuring equal opportunities for all members of society.
