Babayan Becomes Pashinyan's Mouthpiece in Artsakh: What He Tries to Convince the Residents

According to the newspaper 'Jhoghovurd', Samvel Babayan, the former commander of the Artsakh Defense Army and former secretary of the Security Council, has become Nikol Pashinyan's mouthpiece in Artsakh or for the residents of Artsakh. For quite some time now, he has been promoting Pashinyan's propaganda theses, trying to persuade the residents that they should utilize the Agdam road for transporting goods and even engage in dialogue with Azerbaijan, arguing that only in this way can 'final peace be established'.

It seems that Babayan is trying to integrate the residents of Artsakh with Azerbaijan against their will, even witnessing how Azerbaijan abducts sick Artsakh residents from the hands of the International Committee of the Red Cross workers. Of course, peace is a necessity, but not at the cost of integration with a people that hates you and wishes to commit genocide against you. Hate towards Armenia is part of the state policy in Azerbaijan, and from an early age, Azerbaijani schools propagate anti-Armenian sentiments. The president of Azerbaijan also issues daily threats, stating that there is no Armenia, there is no Artsakh, and everywhere is Azerbaijan. However, Samvel Babayan directs the residents of Artsakh towards trade and integration with them.
