VIDEO: "Half of Our Promises Have Gone Down the Drain". Vahan Kerobyan Was Unaware that the Live Broadcast Was Not Off

Former Deputy Minister of Defense and member of the Republican Party of Armenia Artak Zakaryan stated on his Facebook page: "In the stock exchange of state interest sales, they forgot about the existence of a live broadcast. Meanwhile, the so-called Minister of Economy was gladly recounting how they deceive the owners of the state (the people). He was essentially recording that a significant portion of the promises made to the people is not planned in the MTE (medium-term expenditure program). Almost half of what is planned is not included in the current year's state budget. Almost half of the programs anticipated in the budget are not being implemented, according to a 'closed regime' confession. This means they are faking everything: they underperform in budget programs but show 98-99% execution. This indicates that money has been spent, but there is no description of the result; the result is absent. This is a clear confession of squandering state funds.

Yesterday, another figure engaged in obscuring the conspiracies of the stock exchange of state interest sales was justifying himself, claiming that the airplanes were not purchased from the state budget. What difference does it make from which source you have spent? That is public money, earmarked for a universal purpose, which has been squandered without results. And they are still thinking about early elections?

Another figure was ranting at Artsakh residents, demanding, 'Return our money.' Artsakh residents are not obligated to any bureaucrat for maintaining the dignity of the Armenian people, nor do they owe an account to anyone. What Armenia has lent to Artsakh over the years has been and remains one of the most justified expenditures of independent Armenia. If we hadn't allowed foreign and street-level traders into political and state governance, this heavy tragedy would never have knocked on the doors of the Armenian people.

Details following the change of power:

It should be noted that Armenia's Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan was unaware during the commission meeting that the live broadcast was still on. "Half of the MTE is already down the drain. He said, 'I don't know, so many things should not be done from your programs.' There are plenty of things that have fallen out of our government programs. Today we already know that we will not fulfill a significant part of our promises because the money isn't there. Moreover, whatever is planned, half of it isn't being done,' said Kerobyan.

MP Babken Tunyan warned Kerobyan that they are online. Kerobyan replied, 'We are not online.'
