VIDEO: 16 People Trapped in Hotel in Georgia Due to Landslides

Sixteen people have become trapped in the "Sunset Shovi" hotel in the Shovi resort of Georgia's Racha region due to landslides. Georgian media reports this news.

It has been noted that among the hotel's guests are six children. According to the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, rescue teams, equipment, and two helicopters have been dispatched to the Shovi resort.

“There are no confirmed reports about the injured,” states the Ministry's announcement.

Meanwhile, media outlets have managed to establish contact with the people inside the hotel, who are requesting assistance and do not rule out the possibility that the landslides could destroy the building.
