Supporters and opponents of former US President Donald Trump gathered outside the Federal Court in Columbia. Trump is scheduled to appear at the Federal Court of the District of Columbia on August 3 at 4:00 PM (Moscow time 11:00 PM). The Republican is effectively being accused of attempting to illegally retain power despite losing the elections in November 2020.

Donald Trump has announced that he is heading to Washington to face court regarding the Capitol riots that took place in January 2021. “I am going to Washington to be arrested for corrupt, fake, and stolen elections,” he wrote on his Truth Social page, adding that he is “proud to be arrested” for the sake of his supporters.
