No Standard Solution for Artsakh Issue Anymore, from Humanitarian to Security: Abrahamyan
“No standard solution can exist for the Artsakh issue anymore, from humanitarian to security.” This was stated by Armenian National Assembly member Tigran Abrahamyan.
“With every passing day, as events in Artsakh take on a more extreme nature, the solutions that rely on ordinary tools for resolving the issue are diminishing. The fight for bread and, quite literally, for physical existence requires extreme measures to get out of the situation. In the context of the complex situation created, no external factor will work, even if the possibility opens up, if there is no will and unbounded aspiration to resist within Artsakh itself.
Until now, the people of Artsakh have shown through immense suffering that they are doing and will do everything in their power to stand guard over their land and water. Unfortunately, up to this point, there has been no serious signal either from the external world or from the Armenian state (not to be confused with those fighting daily). The Armenian authorities are holding their breath, waiting for the people of Artsakh to cease their struggle, while they will finally announce that, you know, it didn’t work out, we tried, but it did not happen, citing reasons ranging from the Batumi Agreement to the collapse of the Soviet Union,” wrote Abrahamyan.
