Why the President of Mexico Will Refuse to Participate in Ukraine Negotiations

The President of Mexico has announced that he will refuse to participate in negotiations regarding Ukraine without Russia's involvement.

“Mexico is ready to participate in the Ukraine negotiations organized by Saudi Arabia in Jeddah only if both sides of the conflict are present,” said President Andrés Manuel López Obrador. He added, “If both Ukraine and Russia agree to seek a solution for peace, we will participate.”

It is worth noting that it was previously reported that Saudi Arabia wishes to hold peace talks regarding Ukraine in August, inviting representatives from nearly 30 countries.
