As the residents of Yerevan have always been, they will continue to play a decisive role. This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his speech at a fundraising evening for the "Civil Contract" party ahead of the Yerevan city council elections, expressing confidence that on September 17, during the free, fair, competitive, and democratic elections, the residents of Yerevan will make the best decision.

"Elections must be free, fair, democratic, and competitive. The Yerevan voter must continue to maintain and strengthen their role as a decision-maker and participant. Although the topic of election freedom and fairness is no longer a deep agenda issue in Armenia, as it has become a daily reality, we must be consistent and principled regarding this principle in these elections. I hope we will gain the trust of the Yerevan voters. If we can properly demonstrate the services we have provided to Yerevan so far and the services we plan to provide in the near future.

I am confident that the residents of Yerevan will reaffirm the trust they placed in our political team in 2018," said Pashinyan. According to him, Yerevan residents will continue to be decision-makers. "We are confident that the residents of Yerevan will make the right decision in the September 17 elections.
