VIDEO: Arrests Made During Protest Against Arrival of Russian Tourists in Batumi
Arrests have been made of participants in a protest against the arrival of a flight carrying Russian tourists in Batumi.
According to Georgian media reports, those arrested attempted to break through police barricades set up near the port. The exact number of violators has not been disclosed.
Police continued their presence at the port to ensure the safety of vacationers, and the area has been cordoned off.
