Russian-Carrying Cruise Ship Leaves Batumi Amid Protests

The Astoria Grande cruise ship, arriving from Russia and carrying Russian passengers, has left the port of Batumi, Georgia amid protests. According to batumelebi.ge, demonstrators gathered at the port justified their actions by claiming that there were supporters of the military operations in Ukraine and advocates for the independence of Abkhazia on the ship.

During the protests, local law enforcement apprehended 23 individuals, although there are no reports of injuries related to the demonstrations.
