Poland's Interior Minister Mariusz Kamiński has stated that EU countries bordering Belarus may close their borders in response to provocations from the Wagner private military company. This was reported by Reuters.

“Of course, if there are serious incidents related to the Wagner group within NATO and EU countries' borders, such as Poland, Lithuania, or Latvia, we will undoubtedly undertake joint actions,” said Kamiński.

According to him, this would lead to the complete isolation of Belarus, but it would be the right step to take. “I do not rule out that if we decide (to close the borders), it will be the right response at this moment and will lead to the complete isolation of Belarus,” the minister concluded.
