BMW Crashes into Streetlight Pole and Rolls 5 Meters into Ravine, Injuries Reported

On July 26, at 02:59 AM, the crisis management center of the Aragatsotn regional rescue service received a report that an accident had occurred on the Yerevan-Aparan highway; a vehicle had rolled into a ravine with casualties.

A firefighting-rescue team was dispatched from the Ministry of Emergency Situations regional rescue service to the scene.

It was found that a BMW vehicle (driver A. Gh., born in 1992) had veered off the roadway at the end of Baghramyan Street in the city of Aparan, collided with an external lighting pole, and rolled approximately 5 meters into a ravine.

The rescuers assisted the driver in reaching an ambulance, and he was hospitalized at the Aparan Medical Center, while the passenger A. S. (born in 1991) was transported to the Aparan Medical Center through local efforts. The health condition of the victims was assessed as stable; however, they refused medical assistance and were discharged from the facility.

The rescuers also disconnected the vehicle from the power supply.
