Tragic Incident in Lori: Mother Finds 2-Year-Old Child Dead in Crib

Today, on July 24, a tragic incident occurred in the Lori region. Around 21:30, the operational management center of the Lori regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received a call from the "Vanadzor" medical center stating that an emergency medical team had been dispatched to one of the villages in Lori, where a deceased child was found.

According to Shamshyan, police and investigators at the scene determined that the deceased child was 2-year-old Irina M. Relatives of the child informed police and investigators that around 15:00, they had put the child to sleep in her crib, and she was found dead around 17:00.

Based on the circumstances of the case, a criminal case has been initiated in the Lori regional investigative department on the grounds of murder. The investigator has ordered an autopsy.
